"Golda" is an excellent and well-made movie recounting Golda Meir's leadership during the 1973 Yom Kippur war, when multiple Arab countries launched a sneak attack on Israel. Helen Mirren is excellent as Golda Meir and gives a performance that makes you appreciate a leader's responsibilities when her country is under attack by genocide-aspiring fanatics hell-bent on eradicating Israeli Jews from the modern revival of their ancient homeland. Liev Schrieber is also excellent as Henry Kissinger.
