There are times when I rent a movie and think 'that was a waste of good money'. This was not one of those times. This is a very good movie. Brilliant photography set in Boston shows the mean back streets in real life manner with all its good and evil. The story has many and unexpected twists and turns. Good actors and a good story make this a stand out movie. Fair amount of bad language but that is your decision to make. Really do not think you will be disappointed.

This film is in my Top 10 movies of all time. Smartly written, cast, directed and acted. It's a long way from "feel good" but it's such a great movie nonetheless

A great film.. who gave it one star!? .. I find that hard to fathom. Gone baby gone is a gritty Boston crime drama with great acting, interesting characters that gave it a sense of real life in the rough part of Boston.. plus a twist at the end that will leave you thinking. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
