WIth all the hype surrounding this movie I thought I was in for a treat. What I got was an average at best thriller that lost it's way. They could have done so many different things with the plot, the characters.. but it just seemed to drag on without any sense of purpose right up until the lackluster, bitter end. Lots of people seemed to love this movie. Personally, I thought it was boring. Just my two cents.

Long but captivating. Well written and directed. Not a Ben Affleck fan though. Great unsettling story that touches on honesty and realism within a decaying relationship. She is nuts and it is a treat to watch her slowly unravel. Put it on your must see list if you love crime/thriller/drama genres.

I watch a fair amount of cop drama's, so the second I heard there was a twist in it I set about trying to beat the movie to the punch. I think I went a couple of twists further than the movie, most likely ruining it for myself in the process. Still it was ok and kept you guessing long enough to keep the thrill.
