I was brought up on this film. This is a film about women during (the American Civil) War. It’s inspirational. Historically and socially fascinating. I know the Uk/Prince Albert nearly got involved because of the cotton trade which affected our Mills in the North severly. We were not taught this in school, but I believe US children were. On an entertainment level just spectacular. Amazing clothes and fabulous actors. Just ashamed that Hattie McDaniels was left out. Unforgivable. 💥💝💐🎼
