The film tells the story of a Las Vegas fighter pilot turned drone pilot (Ethan Hawke), who fights the Taliban via remote control for half of his day, then goes home to his wife (January Jones) and his kids in the suburbs for the other half. But the pilot is starting to question the mission. Is he creating more terrorists than he’s killing? Is he fighting a war without end? One soldier’s tale with epic implications.

This is the first "drone" war movie I've seen. Very well done. Pretty realistic. I think there is some truth stretching though. Thoughts of the pilot seem very real though. I've known many pilots and none of them would like to be stuck in a box in Nevada half a world away from the real fight. I would recommend this movie to any war movie buff.

I really don't have anything good, or bad, to say about this movie. It was honestly, just really boring, and not something i personally enjoyed. I felt like it was more of a political statement than an entertaining film. Most are, but this was just too obvious to make the entertainment value worth more than the 2 stars i'm giving it. I don't recommend watching it, but it is a good movie for the times when you have nothing else to watch.

Maybe based on actual events but the whole movie was pretty depressing from start to finish. Absolutely no life in these characters what so ever, kinda dreary. A few places were interesting to watch, but those were few and far between.
