"Good Night" is one of those ensemble pieces that manages to put all the pieces together in all the right ways. At her 29th birthday party, Leigh and her husband make a a devastating announcement to their friends. What follows is an exercise in control, which raises important questions for them all; How much of our lives can we control, how much is out of our control because we drank the Kool-Aid? You get the picture. Somehow, the friends all manage to rally around a desire to save the night and make it a memorable affair. Acting is superb. The film, unforgettable.

This is such a real film... you feel like you're there for the night with this great cast of characters, each experiencing the same news and reacting to it in their own ways. You'll see someone you know in each of them. Adriene Mishler and Jonny Mars are clearly destined for bigger films, but it will be hard to top this one in terms of emotional impact. Love little indies like this so much for this reason.
