Get a rare glimpse into the relationship between author A.A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson), creator of the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, and his young son Christopher Robin (Will Tilston). The international success of the books that enchanted the world comes at a cost to the author, his son, and his wife Daphne (Margot Robbie), in this moving story about success and family.

This was an amazing movie about the story behind the real Christopher Robin, his bear Winnie the Pooh, and his father A.A. Milne the author of the very successful story Winnie the Pooh. This is a very heartwarming story and shows the stress that the boy went though. It shows he didnt want to be famous but just wanted to be with his dad and have fun as father, and son. This is such an amazing story I deffinatley recommend.

Im 50 and grew up watching Winnie the Pooh. It was insightful to learn what life was like for the little boy the books were based on. Very sad to see how it effected him too. Loved the movie

My heart breaks for Christopher Robin. As a small child, he asked his Father to write a book FOR him. Adults seldom hear when their Child speaks. They hear what THEY think the child said. In "Blue's" (A. A. Milne) defense, he did what he thought his son wanted. He wrote a book. ABOUT Christopher Robin (Billy Moon) and Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Owl..... The Mrs, on the other hand. Egotistical, self centered, self absorbed. I can only hope the woman softened after Christopher returned from the War. But, had things not turned out the way they did, we would not have the beloved Winnie The Pooh and Company. Well worth the watch. Just have hankies near by.
