Peter O'Toole and Petula Clark star in a musical adaptation of the classic 1939 Academy Award-winning, heartwarming film about the love between a shy teacher and his outgoing wife. This is one of my all-time favorite movies, mostly because it is, at it’s heart, a love story, and a beautiful one at that. It is also, quite likely, the only movie that I have ever said is better than the original book.
