Based on the true story of anthropologist Dian Fossey, whose travels to the African wilderness began as a study of the rare mountain gorillas and became a single-minded devotion to protect the animals from poachers and those who would capture the great apes to ship them off to zoos. Great informative show, have had love of primates since childhood. What poachers do is horrendous, it needs to stop, our children will never witness the wonderful gorgeous gorillas or any type of primate if this continues. Now scientists have renamed primates as human? I hope that occurs so these poaches will stop committing murder as I see it!

This movie gorillas in the mist should be for buying not just renting people just don't want to rent they want to buy their favorite movies on Google Play so please make it so people can buy it

Amazing movie if it had not been for this I never would have known about this woman and Sigourney Weaver does a wonderful job. It's a must-see highly educational!
