Growing up I used to want to be a green lantern I thought they had the coolest powers but after seeing this side of their universe they could not pay me enough to be one. This was a pretty good movie ,it tells a few different short stories of different green lantern adventures and man they are like the beat cops of the universe I never realized the turnover rate for lanterns was so high. Its raw and a bit gritty "real life" untold stories of the lantern core.

DC is way too invested in films that are a collection of stories. It worked once in Batman: The Animated Series. Apart from that, I'm not a huge fan. Some are interesting and leave you wanting more. For others you can't wait until they end. With drastic changes like this through the movie it's easy for the viewer to lose focus. Great animation. Great voice acting an enjoyable time, though not fully engaging throughout.

I don't understand why everyone dogged this movie I thought it was pretty good for a super hero movie. I may not know everything that is canon about green Lantern but for a neophyte it hit all the basic hallmarks
