Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz), a sweet, naïve young woman trying to make it on her own in New York City, doesn’t think twice about returning the handbag she finds on the subway to its rightful owner. That owner is Greta (Isabelle Huppert), an eccentric French piano teacher with a love for classical music and an aching loneliness. Having recently lost her mother, Frances quickly grows closer to widowed Greta. What a disappointment. Two really good actresses let down by an average script. It's supposedly a thriller, but unfortunately there's just no tension on the screen, it's like watching a soap unfold.

This is a great film, great acting but there are a few holes I spotted in the story, this film is definitely better suited towards a female audience as a strong masculine man I could not empathize with this story but I would still definitely recommend you watched it!
