But it fell apart for me towards the end when they kept recycling the same jokes. We *get it*, Drax doesn't understand metaphors. We *get it*, Groot can only say three words. Please come up with something new... The second the humor started to let me down it was harder to sit back and have fun with the movie, and I started to get frustrated by the dozens of massive plot holes. I wouldn't have noticed or cared if I had been liking it, but that unfortunately wasn't the case.

I've never seen a movie this lame, that was also so highly recommended. I'm starting to suspect the comments were rigged. Visually, the effects were decent. As a comedy, it gave our family a few minor laughs. There were also a couple scenes that were emotionally touching. It had it's moments, but most attempts at humor and making a connection were just corny and lame. It's a classically bad, B movie. Watch if you're bored, but don't buy it. Wait till it goes to a $5.00 rental.

Easily the funniest and most far out Marvel movie yet. Tells a good introduction story to these characters. Great action and special FX. Fans of Marvel trivia will love the easter eggs and reveals throughout the whole film. Could've been a little better in some ways but not much, I came away from watching this happy and as a satisfied viewer/rabid Marvel fanatic. Worth buying for sure.
