About this movie

The Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn't over yet. Michael manages to free himself from Laurie Strode's (Jamie Lee Curtis) trap to resume his ritual bloodbath. As Laurie fights for her life from injuries from her last encounter with Michael, she inspires her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), and all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The vigilante mob then sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.

Ratings and reviews

2nd time I watched it; it got better. PROs; Brought back original characters (even some of the original actors), included some homage to the original halloween series ( ie., Halloween III masks etc). Michael is definitely his most violent/brutal. The closing dialogue of Laurie Strode about Michael Meyers really adds to his mystique and describes him as a "force of nature" similar to John Carpenter's intention. Some introspection from characters. CONS: storyline & too much retrospection/flashback

Depending on how you like your Michael Myers you might love this movie; personally I like him slow, subtle, stalking in the background. This is a murder monster, much like Jason. You may love that, hate it, or like me feel indifferent to it; that being said the movie is well made and tense during the opening flashback sequence. From there though it's all murder monster Myers. Carpenters soundtrack is amazing though. It's okay, I'd give 2.5 stars if I could. There are WORSE Halloween sequels.

Michael Myers is a legend.! This Movie is well made and well done.! No complaints :) the flashbacks are great! Overall if I was rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This movie would have a really good score.!
