Set between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: Nightfall tells the dramatic story of legendary manhunter Jameson Locke (Mike Colter) and his team as they are caught in a horrific biological attack while investigating terrorist activity on the distant colony world of Sedra. Led by Locke, agents from the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) are forced to coordinate with a Sedran commander with a remarkable history and deep-rooted mistrust of ONI. As the plot unravels, they’re drawn to an ancient, hellish artifact where, forced to fight for their survival, they begin to question everything and, ultimately, have to choose between their loyalties and their lives. Agent Locke is a new character in the Halo universe playing a major role in Halo 5: Guardians.

halfway decent, but you lost me at the end. In the beginning they say that the planet gets to 900 degrees in the day. There is no way in hell that white man is gonna be standing right in the sunlight as the sun is rising and his flesh doesn't get boils or begin to melt off his bones or something. The rest was rough to buy into as well given that the temperature on that planet at night is still 150 degrees. In reality, without water at least, they wouldn't of made it half as far as they did.

Pretty standard action film plot and suitably average cast, although Waddington stands out a mile. Nothing game changing but the effects are solid, setting is compelling and the characters if simplistic, drive the story forward. All in all a fun Halo-themed experience with some nice tie-ins to the universe. Watch it for the guns and the ships, not for the acting.

It wouldve been an alright movie if they had stuck to the initial narrative, yet the movie flew off to a different angle, ignored the starting problem and continued with a generic surival trope woth soldiers playing heroics. Seriously, save your money. This movie honestly sucks! Or dont believe me, waste your dollars.
