Spoilt brats Sonu and Monu are the two sons of a rich businessman, Seth Amirchand. Their favourite past time is to extort money from their hapless dad, by hook or by crook, by threats or blackmail. Frustrated with his sons antics, Amirchand decides that the best way to deal with them is to separate them from each other. Subsequently, Sonu is sent off to Goa to recover dues from a client, where he meets Pooja, and falls in love with her. Meanwhile Monu, who is forced to attend the office daily, meets Ritu, Pooja's sister, and falls in love with her. To impress Pooja's father, Seth Gulzarilal, Sonu plays a prank, which leads him to trouble, and he has no choice but to seek Monu's help. To complicate matters even more, underworld don, Bhai demands money from Amirchand, only to have Amirchand mock and ridicule him, thinking it is another prank by his sons. A fuming Bhai swears to avenge this humiliation.
