A family of five moves into a beautiful, sprawling dream home. One problem: it's cursed, having caused the deaths of the previous family to occupy it, leaving only one survivor (Jacki Weaver). The moody 18-year-old son and his mysterious new neighbor inadvertently awaken something in the house while also violently shaking the many skeletons in the many closets. Mac Carter's debut feature is a frightening and powerful character-driven haunted-house film that isn't afraid to take the action outside.

I actually got creeped out and was surprised by the end. I.liked the characters and it has nice atmosphere. Yes, Sinister is scarier, but this is some what more believable, a film is creepier when its more plausible or realistic.

I gotta say, it's a good looking horror film with plenty of blood... i think, but it reminds me a little of sinister, and house on haunted hill.

Wanna see a good movie, see "The Conjuring." Whoever wrote "Haunt" didn't do such a good job and it could have been scarier. I've seen worse though.
