On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an "extreme" haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some monsters are real.

Really solid first half, totally sucked me in with some creepy and disturbing moments. Second half was such a letdown. The killers were great but they made so many insanely stupid decisions that made no sense and kind of ruined it for me. The flashback stuff also felt unnecessary. I struggled to not score this lower but I was so impressed from the title screen up until an hour in and frankly it's better than 75% of the other horror films I saw this past year.

I wasn't expecting much, the group of teenagers in a Halloween haunted house full of real maniacs is a cliche, formulaic fall back that anyone apt to calling themselves a horror movie fan is well acquainted with. However, the action and the poor man's Jigsaw effects played nicely. Alas, this flick finished up with another cliche, the snap, bang ending that doesn't make sense.

The first 20 minutes showed real promise and I was totally in to it and then POOF the train made a stop at Sucktown and stayed there. ***spoiler*** The villains should’ve kept their mask on as the dollar store masks were much creepier than the lame dysmorphia makeup attempts that were made. Movie ended in a total final girl cliche and was overall pretty disappointing. I would also like to know how to get my $5.99 and an hour and a 1/2 of my life back 👎🏼
