This coming-of-age story, set during the Vietnam war, centers around a brilliant but fatherless boy and his mother, whose lives are forever changed by a mysterious man, Academy Award-winner Anthony Hopkins ("Bad Company," "Hannibal") who enlists the aid of the young boy to save his life. Anthony Hopkins see things before they happen and rents a room in a house next to a boy who lives with his single mother but wants to know more about his father but mother want tell 2 anything good about so he will get up his wanting to know9 but Anthony helps him find it so he can have pride in who he is p

This is a return trip to this movie. I have seen it once before and could not resist seeing it again. It reached my psyche in ways that few other movies have ever come close to doing.

Reminds me of my step dad n I just hope he doesn't leave me :( I love my dad Dan lightfoot
