영화 정보

Academy Award-winners Robert DeNiro ('Showtime,' 'Analyze This') and Al Pacino ('Insomnia,' 'Any Given Sunday') -- together for the first time since 'The Godfather Part II' -- head a stellar cast in this taut psychological drama about an obsessive detective and a brilliant thief whose fates are linked in the aftermath of a high-stakes securities heist.

Really great action and psychological thriller. Amazing supporting cast that both adds interest and distracts you from the main drama. Only issue that I have is that it is (and has been since its initial release) described as if Pacino and DeNiro act with each other throughout the movie when they only have a few scenes together at the end of the movie. While these scenes are great, they don't quite meet the build up leading to them .

(((spoiler alert!!!!))) i'm rating this movie at two stars not because of the action. the part i didn't like is how throw away the people of color were in this movie. Danny Trejo character is part of the heist group yet barely has any lines. later he is made to look like a trader while left for dead with no dignity. then there's Dennis Haysbert's character who is on parole and in a poison where he can only pick his demise when the golden ticket is offered. i knew exactly why Dennis was there and what role he would play later. Ricky Harris & Tone Loc were street thugs that gave info to intimidating police. even Mykelti Williamson character is out smarted by the by the woman who is suppose to be helping him. the love stories were also a mess. more of the typical she's crazy or you need to slap her to listen fotter of yesteryear. the action was intense and definitely pulled me in to that part of the movie but nothing else appealed to me.
