About this movie

On their flight to Washington, D.C., dimwitted Fibber McGee (Jim Jordan) and his wife, Molly (Marian Jordan), meet pollster George Gallup (Don Douglas). After arguing that the average man has as much right to participate in the political process as anyone, Fibber and Molly talk their way into a Senate hearing, where Fibber indignantly denounces the amount of influence given to the wealthy and prominent. The speech scandalizes the senators but strikes a nerve with the public.
