About this movie

Toby (Chris Pine) and Tanner (Ben Foster) are brothers who come together to rob branch after branch of the bank that is foreclosing on their family land. Vengeance seems to be theirs until they find themselves in the crosshairs of a relentless, foul-mouthed Ranger (Jeff Bridges) looking for one last triumph on the eve of his retirement.

this movie is a Western. make no mistake. it's a slow one but it is indeed. good to great performances all around. Ben Foster is a stand out as usual. there is no way the resolution would ever work which is why only 4 out of 5.

Starts out a little laid back. My pet peeve is movies that the character talks so soft in, that you can hardly hear them. This is one of those movies. I was interested in this storyline and watched it to the end.

Just shows how bad the movie business has been that an average bank robbery movie can get rave reviews to bring it to a 98% rating. Some of the greatest acclaimed movies of all time barely break 90.
