After years of estrangement, Texan brothers Toby (Chris Pine) and Tanner (Ben Foster) decide to rob the branches of the bank threatening to foreclose on their family land. Very well written, directed and acted. First time I appreciated Chris Pine. Foster is always good. And Jeff Bridges is king. The story line is about the common person vs the greed of the BANK. Any bank. the SYSTEM! Banks' crimes are covered by the law, but when the common person resorts to extra legal ways to preserve his/her right, one becomes a "criminal"!! You cannot but empathize, especially with Foster's character and his love for his brother (Pine). Very worth seeing. Twice. Peace

A modern classic. Multi-layered story with characters as real as the salt in the earth. Acted superbly, perfectly, not a single over-cooked scene. Wasn't sure when I bought it but totally sure it is an excellent film now. The shorts didn't do it justice, which is a good thing as I wouldn't have believed it if they had.

A plain old rootin', tootin' Texas vendetta movie. Jeff Bridges is fantastic in it. There's no dead weight carried in this movie. It just works. That is all
