This action packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue, a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.

This "Hellboy" is not Ron Perlman. The movie lacks the heart and humor from the original "Hellboy" however for what is it, a Fantasy which a lot of action it was not bad. I would of likely rated the movie lower four stars but too many people are saying this is not as good as the original one star. i think this film should be givens a chance. People when they review movies should forget about past films and ask themselves to I regret watching the film; did I enjoy the flim. I did enjoy this movie.

Awful doesn't begin to describe this boring and uninspired attempt at a cash grab. I'm so glad it failed. From the CG to the script to the acting, everything not only fails to meet up to the standards of its predecessors but fails to meet the basic standards of even a B-movie. There is no joy in any of this.
