I really enjoyed it, always loved Hellboy. And I absolutely loved the ending. Shallow, yes. comic book stylized, yes. With the advent of him having children, the clock has started ticking to the end of the world as they know it. His future is clear, as a parent, I already know how this will go, if they make another film. All it will take is a few scuff ups with humans, and the disappearance of one of his children, and he will tear the world apart looking for his child. 5 star rating, is reserved for the most "wow factor" that this movie has fallen far short from. Greed might be in the hearts of man, but not all act upon that desire, some have even managed to set greed aside to try to help others who are in need. Begin philosophical debate about the true nature of man.... And this movie opens that can of worms... In closing, just enjoy the movie for the "fun" aspect of what hellBoy represents, and nothing more.

Like the Matrix, both first movies were written to a class of people who like dark movies. Then they went and wrote to the mentality of Mall Cop viewers and wonder why their fan base cried. And why the sequels weren't cult hits. Sigh Star Wars at least got 2 sequels right.

I like the part when Liz said get away from the window"and hellboy said"world here I come"then he crashes out the window on a police car in front of the whole city. This move also has romance and funny parts. I watched some of hellboy and hellboy 2 with my dad. I really wish they could have a hellboy 3 with his kids on there. So I shall give this thumbs up😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
