I had the opportunity to see the premiere of Hellion in Los Angeles. Let me start off by saying that this movie is a necessary watch. It tells a dark, but honest, tale about a broken family that desperately wants to fix itself. It's so honest it hurts. Literally, the second the film begins you know you're watching quality filmmaking. The cinematography was stellar, on point, and inspirational. The quality continues to shine when you're introduced to the amazingly honest performances that are given to us by a magnificent cast. Character development may be the most important thing needed from films. It's what guides us through the journey and makes us care about the outcome of the lives we're watching on the screen. Not one character was left out of this detail. Everyone has such a purpose. Aaron Paul, Juliette Lewis, and Josh Wiggins will be stuck in my heart and my mind for quite some time. They left a mark with their memorable performances. Thank you Kat Candler for making such an incredible film. It's directors like you that show what filmmaking is all about.

The entire movie had me crying, it was such a heartwarming and loving movie about family and the lengths those kids went through to keep it was moving. Was especially blown away by the young actors and how they portrayed their character so flawlessly you would have thought you were watching life unfold before your eyes
