Vivienne (Sarah Jessica Parker), is an established singer with a successful music career. On the eve of a major performance, Vivienne receives some life-altering news that causes her to reevaluate her priorities. As she crisscrosses the busy streets of New York City, she tries to balance her upcoming music tour, family, and friends. Through time spent with her overbearing mother, Jeanne (Jacqueline Bisset), her long-time manager, Ben (Common), and her ex-husband, Nick (Simon Baker), Vivienne strives to make peace with the decisions and sacrifices she’s made along the way.

I'd like to rate it 0, but not possible. Almost a complete waste of time, So pedantic and self involved, it was mild numbing. It's been a long time since I've wasted so much expectation in what a movie could have been. I'm begging you all not to waste 90 min of your life. Instead, take a walk and breathe the fresh air.

I love Sarah Jessica Parker...but she nearly lost me forever. While I get that they were trying to convey what it's really like to be given a death sentence, the movie totally lack substance. The other actors may have been called cameos. They offered nothing. A big disappointment.

Have your remote ready! The whole movie has these long breaks of Parker just walking around NY. Fast forward to you actually see her, or anyone, speak. The movie is about 25 min long. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
