I'm usually unfazed by horror movies since the Japanese movie Ring, for more than 15 years. But this one made me peek behind me and sent shivers down my spine. The main reason is because the Graham family in this movie seems very real and more relatable than most families in scare jump movies. What is done to them is also abominable. It is like watching a puppy getting kicked(euphemism). The fast rate of character progression in a couple of hours in Hereditary is incredible. That is due to an excellent overall acting and directing. Now I wash my hand of this movie.
