Two unlikely companions find themselves when they find each other in this heart-warming drama starring Henry Winkler and Sally Field. Years after his return from the Vietnam War, traumatized former soldier Jack Dunne (Henry Winkler) still has nightmares about his experience. During a cross-country bus ride to California, he meets Carol (Sally Field) and tells her of his plans to open a worm farm with some of his fellow comrades. But as his buddies drop out of the project one by one, it's soon clear that only Carol can give the shattered man hope for a brighter future. Co-starring Harrison Ford, it's a deeply moving and thoughtful story you won't soon forget. (Original Title - Heroes)

I first saw this in the theater in 1977, it was so moving that i still think of it all these years later, great acting and music soundtrack, it brought PTSD, that veteran's suffer from, into the forefront, I'm very thankful to our veteran's and always will be, this movie helped me realize how much they sacrificed for our freedom, that more needs to be done to help them and give them respect that is due.
