Sobre este filme

Loud music. Pornography. Lighting fires. These are a few of Hesher's favorite things. And they are what Hesher (Joseph Gordon- Levitt) brings into the lives of TJ (Devin Brochu) and his father Paul (Rainn Wilson) when he takes up residence in the garage uninvited. Grief stricken by the loss of TJ's mother, Paul can't muster the strength to evict the strange squatter and soon the long-haired, tattooed Hesher becomes a fixture in the household. Like a force of nature, Hesher's anarchy shakes the family out of their grief and helps them embrace life once more

I agree with Larry: JFK is an amazing actor. Probably a great president too, but that was before my time. His rambling stories in this movie were my favorite part. And hey, if you live a suburban life, or are kept down by the man, or maybe you are the man, you can watch this movie and live vicariously through it. Modern psychology tells us of the collective unconscious and how we are all living in a shared, vivid, and continuous dream: what I'm saying is, we all want to jump off a flaming diving board into a pool full of trash, and this movie taps into that. Watch it, enjoy it, and then go smash something. While wearing proper safety glasses.

It was ok. I really liked Hesher's character and think the movie would have been better if it maintained the tone it started out with. Half way through the movie things got really dark and depressing. The movie is at it's best when it's focused on Hesher.

I really loved this movie. Being an old metal head this flick really brought me back to growing up in the late 80's and early 90's. Not to mention the great story and touching ending. I will probably watch this movie 20 or 30 times.
