This is one of my favourite movies. I love it for the scenery, for the brief glimpses of (and in some cases, gentle mockery of) cultures (Lakota, Cowboy, Bedouin, English colonial). It's an epic journey of breaking all the rules to survive. There's lots of choreographed sword and gunfights, it isn't a kids' movie where nobody dies. There's feats of bravery and courage and honour. I loved this movie for being old school - the hero is allowed to be a hero and a good man, he isn't mocked for it.

No movie is ever perfect. This movie is a must see for ppl into horses,cowboys etc

Fantastic story, beautiful horses, great actors, what more can I ask for?
