About this movie

The incredible untold true story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) & Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. This stunning achievement galvanized the world and inspired generations to dream big.

It has got to be a damn good movie to make me watch it, and Hidden figures has kept up to the expectations. Loved it! I went through the comments section before writing mine, well, if you're expecting a masala comedy, please get lost. This is kind of a pseudo documentary, portraying real life and a very good one at that. This is what movies are meant to be. Hats off the team.

Very powerful movie and truly inspirational! Good actors. This movie shows how, in spite of being extremely talented, these 3 women had to fight for their rights and shows their perseverance, courage, inner strength and strong belief in themselves. The fight was not just against men to climb the ladder, but against a complete belief system against coloured people.

Really awesome movie. Much better than the mindless Billion dollar movies out there. Enough said!
