Hindustan Ki Kasam" is a 1999 Bollywood war drama film directed by Veeru Devgan and starring Amitabh Bachchan; Ajay Devgn; and Manisha Koirala in lead roles. The film is set during the Kargil War of 1999 between India and Pakistan. The story follows the lives of two brothers; Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) and Capt. Jasjit (Ajay Devgn); who are officers in the Indian Army. They are close and share a strong bond of brotherhood. The film also features the love story between Capt. Jasjit and a journalist, Sarita (Manisha Koirala). As the Kargil War breaks out, Vijay is called back to the Army and is tasked with leading a battalion to reclaim a strategic peak from the Pakistani Army.
