Iran, in de huidige tijd. Een familie is op weg naar een geheime bestemming. Achter in de auto zit de vader in het gips, maar heeft hij echt zijn been gebroken? De moeder lacht om alles, maar houdt zich niet in om te huilen. Hun zoontje maakt altijd grapjes, zingt en danst. Iedereen is bezorgd om de zieke hond. Alleen de oudere broer zwijgt.
