It might be based of the game, but the movie has very little in common. It's like they wanted to make an action film and decided to put Hitman in there for the fun of it. In the game your meant to blend in plain sight and not get noticed; there's a bit in the movie where 47 says to face your enemy head on. That just something 47 wouldn't do. There so much more worse about the film. At least the other film put the barcode on the right place

This could have been a decent film. However, and despite some effort and a good budget, they almost completely ignored the atmosphere and directorship of the game. Unlike its predecessor, this film throws you out of the plot when you notice the myriad of details that are wrong. So this will be an average film at best for people that aren't fans of Hitman from Eidos and a disappointment for those that are.

I didn't go to see it in the cinema and I'm quite glad I didn't. The 2010 Hitman was a better representation of what an agent 47 would be. This film has stretched fiction to a point that It takes away the appeal of some what believing that there could possibly be people like this out their.
