Rupert Friend stars in HITMAN: AGENT 47, a thrilling action-packed film based on the popular video game series. The product of a genetic experiment that gave him superior intelligence and superhuman abilities, 47 has become the perfect killing machine. Teaming up with a mysterious young woman, he uncovers secrets about his own origins and faces an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

It might be based of the game, but the movie has very little in common. It's like they wanted to make an action film and decided to put Hitman in there for the fun of it. In the game your meant to blend in plain sight and not get noticed; there's a bit in the movie where 47 says to face your enemy head on. That just something 47 wouldn't do. There so much more worse about the film. At least the other film put the barcode on the right place

Maybe the variety of killing isn't showed in this movie and the story is jusy so so. But the actor's great performance still give us the impression of 47 and yes, he has emotion. It's a great choice to make the story more fluent rather than show off 47's skillset too often. The one in the interrogation room is good enough.

This could have been a decent film. However, and despite some effort and a good budget, they almost completely ignored the atmosphere and directorship of the game. Unlike its predecessor, this film throws you out of the plot when you notice the myriad of details that are wrong. So this will be an average film at best for people that aren't fans of Hitman from Eidos and a disappointment for those that are.
