Producer Mike Cernovich’s goal with HOAXED was to deconstruct America’s post-fact media landscape with a creative insider’s look at the Fake News phenomenon and the consequences of media misinformation, with interviews from those who have been accused of spreading it themselves. Is HOAXED an exposé of the corporate press or just more anti-media propaganda from astroturfing trolls? Maybe HOAXED, like Fake News itself, is two movies playing on one screen.

This is true. I have seen that all the times when media showed only one side story bias which is the reason why I stopped watch national news. They use propaganda to cover up the truth and to divide people. This movie sent us a message to warn us. We all should work together regardless of our political party's stance by stand up against the corrupt government before too late.

I watched this expecting to have already known everything discussed. What surprised me is the number of things I didn't know, and how they're not being discussed on either side of the aisle. I wish more people would watch this, especially those people I know of all political persuasions; I fear far too many of them will reject this recommendation, thinking I don't know what I am talking about.

Amazed that I was never shown (by the media at least) the black lives matters leader...he was so reasonable and willing to discuss and bring people together...of course the main stream media want nothing to do with him...for them it's all about the 'show' ... this was truly eye opening. Those hooked on main stream media are doomed to harbor ill will, believe that those who hold opposing values are not just wrong but evil...and why would you ever entertain the idea of trying to reason with somebody you deem 'evil'...not just wrong....e v i l. This is so dangerous. What a great show! thank you....thank you.
