This film is truly dreadful - cheesy jokes, weak plot, forgettable characters and poor acting. About as far from classic Ferrell/Reilly as you can get. I watched it on a flight and still felt like I wasted 90 minutes of my life. Also - £15.99?! It's bad enough that you're robbing us for decent films, for this effort it's downright insulting! Take a long hard look at your pricing schemes, Google, before you lose loyal customers to the other lot.

Terrible from start to finish. Lame jokes (if you can call them jokes), just blunders about from the start to ending. Can understand why this was held back for so long, wish it was still being held back. I cannot help but feeling that they chopped and changed so much they forgot to make it remotely funny. The premise seemed like a good idea, but for whatever reason it fails and fails miserably, if you are looking for a better play on the Homes & Watson characters I would suggest "Without a Clue" as a far better option.

I guess Will & John had nothing else better to do at the time, so they made this mess. I turned this off after approx 15 mins & was shocked with myself for not turning it off sooner! It's a shame, as I usually love these guys, especially when they work together.
