Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin';s rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!

This is hands-down one of the best not just Christmas movies but movies in general. This is definitely my favorite Christmas movie because it can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Its funny all the time. Macaulay Culkin definitely fit the role of Kevin. Best Christmas movie ever! Also I may be 13 years old but I know everyone wanted to booby trap their house after seeing this movie.

holiday tradition 'Home alone' are you kidding me ? its woven into our Christmas Tradition, reindeer Santa Claus the Nativity Scene The Christ Child, and Home Alone. It's a beautiful thing.

Saw this at the movie theatre with Missy Harple and Chris Orth in 1984 when the three of us worked together at Kreamer Pharmacy in Elizabethtown, PA 17022 in Lancaster, PA by the Fulton Opera House.
