Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!

Had always watched this in parts, never in full, until last Christmas, my daughter believe it or not said dad! You have to watch it now! And I'm glad I did, now I understand why this is such a classic

Summary - Kevin McCalister is left home alone and sets up booby traps when two people try and get into his home on Christmas. A normal kid would've reacted differently but Kevin is just unique and sets up his own was of conquering robbers. Is he successful...

Grew up watching this film and Hone Alone 2: Lost in New York every Christmas. They're a perfect mix of comedy and tragedy. Huge recommendation for both films.
