A successful young man must return to his childhood small town in Texas to help his father. His father, who's ill with cancerl, wants him to take over the family business, a dilapidated bar. Secretly the young man wants to burn down the bar because he blames it for the death of his own mother and the illness of his father. In the process he rediscovers his childhood’s small town and he meets Sofia, a Venezuelan immigrant who speaks very little English.

Though this isn't the "best" film ever made, and the core plot's been done to death, this is still one film I'd easily, highly, and wholeheartedly recommend to all my friends and family as a 'You must see this one at least once. You won't regret it.' movie.
