I rented this film, because Mickey Rourke wrote the screenplay. I hung with the slow pace of the film, because of the character development. I covered my eyes and ears at the end of the final fight . . . because by then I had become incredibly fond of "Johnny Walker." When the final scene revealed itself, I gasped and cried with a smile on my face. Mickey Rourke is a wholehearted, authentic human, who never gives up. Who wouldn't want to see him not only win . . . but thrive, as much off screen, as on? God bless this steel-covered angel.
