When you rent/buy a movie with Jason Statham you know what you're getting into, hence the predictability. What you want to see is how they develop the character and use Jason's tremendous physical skills in martial arts and choreographed fights. The movie has you cheering for Jason's character although there are several "holes" in the story. It's a good "airplane" movie and just lower your expectations and enjoy a better than average action movie. By the way, nothing will match Jason's Transporter (first movie).

Ensemble cast's masterful performance turns a formulaic shoot-em-up into something quite entertaining. Statham, Franco, Ryder, Bosworth carried the film, with Izabela Vidovic the jewel in the crown. Special mention to Omar Benson Miller, as well. If you're in the mood to simply be entertained with a classic if gritty battle between good and evil, Homefront won't disappoint.

Truly awful. There are some movies that just make you feel like you need to take a bath after watching them. The level of violence, language, drugs was just way over the top. To have involved kids, movie set or no, in this stuff is too much. Should have stopped this after the first five minutes. Shame that I didn't.
