Mona is a young headstrong Muslim girl.When her family discover her plans to run away with a boy from another sect, rather than suffer the shame amongst the community, they decide the only course of action is to order her “removal”.Desperate to save face they enlist the services of a bounty hunter (Considine) – known for his swift, coldblooded executions. Very well written. I thought that it handled the subject matter very well . You're drawn into the story and all the characters. The family trapped in their old tradition, living in a culture which is contrary to their own - and how they're torn apart by their ideal of maintaining honour. It should have done much better in the mainstream cinema circuit - thought it was brilliant.
