Mona is a young headstrong Muslim girl.When her family discover her plans to run away with a boy from another sect, rather than suffer the shame amongst the community, they decide the only course of action is to order her “removal”.Desperate to save face they enlist the services of a bounty hunter (Considine) – known for his swift, coldblooded executions. Frantic and terrified, Mona’s only option is to go on the run but with nobody to turn to, where do you hide, and who can you trust?The United Nations estimate that 5000 girls are killed every year by members of their own families, in the name of “Honour”, most of which go unpunished…

Very well written. I thought that it handled the subject matter very well . You're drawn into the story and all the characters. The family trapped in their old tradition, living in a culture which is contrary to their own - and how they're torn apart by their ideal of maintaining honour. It should have done much better in the mainstream cinema circuit - thought it was brilliant.
