Kay (Meryl Streep) and Arnold (Tommy Lee Jones) are a devoted couple, but decades of marriage have left Kay wanting to spice things up and reconnect with her husband. When she hears of a renowned couple's specialist (Steve Carell) in the small town of Great Hope Springs, she attempts to persuade her skeptical husband, a steadfast man of routine, to get on a plane for a week of marriage therapy. Just convincing the stubborn Arnold to go on the retreat is hard enough -- the real challenge for both of them comes as they try to re-ignite the spark that caused them to fall for each other in the first place. 2012 GHS Productions, LLC. This is more for couples that are feeling something missing in their life and/or marriage. If you've been together awhile and your kids are grown and on their own and your retired and both at home and don't know what to do and feel the flame has been sizzling out, Then this is for you and your partner to watch!!!

This is a lame show about how to re-bed a spouse, not re-wed a spouse. Courting comes before cavorting. Disappointed by script taking 2 very talented actors, teaching them foreplay. DISAPPOINTED, DISAPPOINTED. This had so much potential to teach a couple how to emotionally re-connect. Could not past halfway...

This was a great movie for couples. My only.objection is the PG-13 rating. I'm no prude, but a movie with the content of sexual posotions, threesomes, public BJS, and masturbation is hardly.appropriate for a 13 year old! Shame on whoever thought that rating was appropriate.
