When Lou finds himself in trouble, Nick and Jacob fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future with Adam Jr. Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past…which is really the present, in the sequel from the same team that brought you the original cult hit.

Ratings and reviews

This was not a bad movie, it wasn't a good movie either. It was worth the $5 to rent, offered some funny moments and the time passed quickly. If you liked the first one, then worth a watch.

The 1st Hot Tub Time Machine was so funny, I love that movie. But there is no reason for this to exist. Weak story, terrible writing, and just not funny. Very disappointed

The best parts of the movie is the ending. Watch the credits seriously. I was hoping for an unrated version/director's cut or something different from theaters. A lot of scenes looked cut prematurely.
