This was what I guess I can describe the movie as if it was one of those national lampoons kind of movie. It had its funny parts adult situation parts and most of all its ridiculously stupid parts. I guess you have to have a really good sense of humor to like this movie because it was to me a waste of my money. Could of waited for it to come out on cable why I didn't wait I honestly don't know just wanted to see it in a boring day!!!

Opening scene goes after pirates. First 30 mins takes pop shots at republicans for shooting black smart cars?? Geeez! Do your homework! DEMOCRATS CREATED THE KKK AND THE REPUBLICSNS FREED THE PEOPLE! So end result... Leftwing Hollywood political PIECE OF CRAP. What happened to old fashion silly comedy? Get poltical in a movie, peole will take sides. So there goes HALF your audiance and half your profits. Get a clue Hollywood... Your political crap laced movies is just that...CRAP.

The story, that had some awesome potential as a kind of mystery/comedy, was hacked to death by the repetitive bad jokes, and nonsensical "shock factor" violence. Scenes that should have been pivitol and meaningful to the storyline, were glazed over and soon forgotten. Much more attention and emphasis was put into the side-show of frat-boy banter (eg. the cliffhanger Cincinnati ending followed by a time-traveling bro-fest montage). If there is a HTTM3 I hope that the makers remember that "Story is King" Another thing is that all of the characters seemed pretty static; 2 dimensional at best. The lack of John Cusack meant that there was nobody to sympathize with.
