Inspired by the stories of survivors of the 2008 Mumbai Attacks, HOTEL MUMBAI is the powerful, poignant debut of director Anthony Maras, with an ensemble cast that includes Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire, Lion), Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name, The Social Network), Jason Isaacs (The Death Of Stalin, Harry Potter), Nazanin Boniadi (Counterpart, Homeland) and Anupam Kher (Silver Linings Playbook, The Big Sick). On the 26th November 2008, a wave of devastating terror attacks throughout Mumbai catapulted the bustling Indian metropolis into chaos. In the heart of the city's tourist district, Jihadist terrorists laid siege to the iconic Taj Palace Hotel, whose guests and staff became trapped in a heroic, day-long fight for survival.

Good film, but I watched the Indian film that didn't have sub titles, but was still a lot more graphic and action packed than this.

Tragic events dramatised very well . I found the baby crying annoying and frustrating rather than building tension.

Real life drama that's brilliantly acted and gives a rounded account of the tragedy.
