About this movie

In this all-new monster comedy adventure, everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania! However, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn’t showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is on vacation, things get batty as Drac enlists his monster friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a “monster-in-training” boot camp!

Just bad. Bad even for Adam Sandler. Also, lazy ... even for Adam Sandler's standards. Bottom of the barrel dialogue, again very Adam Sandler-esque. I can't help thinking that Adam Sandler had something to do with writing this script. The storyline is painful. As painful as you might expect if Adam Sandler wrote a children's movie plot. You know that feeling when you sit down in a theater and after 10 minutes you realize you've made a grave mistake? Hotel Transylvania 2 is exactly one of those cases. Not quite as bad as the Last Air Bender, but close.

I don't know why people/critics are hating on this movie, probably because Adam Sandler in it but this movie it's fine, It's okay and it's fun for your kids. It's was created by the legendary Genndy Tartakovsky, who made Dexter laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, and my favorite Samurai Jack. I can guarantee you if Adam Sandler wasn't in it, it would be rated over 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I watched it on Netflix. As on other reviews, why did Dennis become a vampire? I know, plots points.. carry along the story. The moral I'm about to say is overused, but it could have shown you to be yourself. And drive up the plot by Dennis's mom leaving. But what I'm trying to say is, a be yourself ending is predictible, but Dennis turning into a vampire is even more predictible.
