Elissa (Jennifer Lawrence) and her mother (Elisabeth Shue) move to a new town only to find that they are living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. Locals claim that the girl mysteriously vanished after the incident, but as Elissa becomes close to the girl's brother (Max Thieriot), she learns that a dark and terrible secret still lurks within those walls and this sinister story of murder is far from over. - 2011 Hates, LLC. What the hell happened to Elisabeth Shue?! Did she melt in the sun? Anyway, poorly set-up, poorly written, directed with absolutely no style, poorly acted and just overall ridiculous and boring. Watch it purely as an exercise in masochism.

This film sucks, makes no sense dire,clichéd and patchy plot holes everywhere it doesn't get better the more you watch it either. And for a slasher wannabe doesn't actually deserve to be promoted as much it is.

I wouldn't say scary/horror but simple is you wanna watch a horror but can't handle too much of the usual stuff you get in them aka loads of blood etc then this would suit you!
